Why Range exists

I got tired of seeing patients discharged on "how does that feel" instead of an actual number.

Range exists because recovery should be measurable: a degree of motion, a kilo of load, a week of a program actually followed. I work with post-surgical patients, injured athletes, and anyone who wants a specific answer on when they'll be back to what they actually want to do.

Every session

What gets measured.

  • Joint angle

Measured in degrees with a goniometer, in the same position every session.

  • Strength

Tested with a handheld dynamometer, left side against right, in kilograms.

  • Load

Tracked week by week against the program you actually followed.
